Melee Gear For PvM
Hello everyone, I've noticed people have been using the wrong gear for PvM, whether it's Bossing, Slayer, or just Training.
My guide should show you the best options for not only the certain types of armor you should wear for Combat PvM, later on I will add ranged armor, and also the inventories you should bring for every boss.

I will list everything in this form: Poor armor, Good armor, Ideal armor.

Table of Contents:
-Slayer/Bossing(Combat)

Slayer/Bossing (Combat)

For Slayer and Bossing I recommend using the best Defense & Strength bonus armor you have. You want to be hitting the highest you can while also protecting yourself, as some of the slayer and boss monsters are very powerful.

Poor armor:
This armor is obtainable within the first hour of joining the game and is really not recommended for bossing, but is good for slayer.

Cost of armour: No more than 500k if you obtain the items yourself.
Weapon: Dragon Scimitar.
Helm: Helm of neitiznot; substitute for Amulet of Power/Strength.
Necklace: Amulet of Glory.
Cape: Fire Cape; you should not substitute this for anything, as Firecape is extremely easy to obtain.
Shield: Rune Defender or any other defender.
Torso: Fighter Torso (gives a great strength bonus); Boris' Recommendation: Initiate Platebody, good prayer bonus!
Legs: Rune Platelegs.
Boots: Rune Boots; substitute these for any other boots you have.
Gloves: Barrows gloves; substitute for any gloves you have.
Ring: Any ring you have I used warriors ring.
